What Tell Me Your Story does differently
Tell Me Your Story is a voice-first memoir app for iPhone and iPad. The storyteller opens the app, taps record, and talks. Speech is transcribed on the device. Optional AI polish cleans filler words without replacing the speaker’s voice, and can assemble a manuscript with a foreword, chapter introductions, and an afterword. The finished book is a printed hardcover through Lulu.
Elderly UX is the point of the product, not a skin on top. Touch targets are 44 points. The language is warm and non-technical. There is one record button. The person you are buying this for does not have to type essays about their childhood.
Stories stay in the storyteller’s personal iCloud. Recordings, transcripts, photos, and book PDFs are not stored on Tell Me Your Story servers. If the app disappeared, the files would still be in that iCloud account.
